ScootPad- reading, writing, math activities aligned to the Common Core.
BrainPop- videos on many different topics! Students will not be able to access all videos, but there are many that they can watch for free.
StudyJams- a Scholastic website that has videos and quizzes on math topics. They do a really great job of explaining concepts!
Math Drills- basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Mathmateer (App Only)- telling time, counting money, identifying shapes.
Reading
Reading Bear- free phonics and vocabulary website.
Reading A-Z (RazKids)- students should have their login from school. Great website for books on their level and quizzes that go along with the books.
GetEpic - a great website for books and stories read aloud.
Writing
Toontastic (App Only)- great app for animating a story. Students can create their own characters, setting, and tell an interesting story!
Story Starters - provides students story starters based on different themes.
Flocabulary- well thought out songs to support writing, reading, math, science, and social studies concepts and terms.
Free Rice - learn new vocabulary words and donate rice to the United Nations World Food Program.
